Boxing in Ingolstadt.
Learn the fundamentals or build on your experience: punching technique, guard, distance and footwork. HD Boxing offers a structured start to group training for beginners and experienced athletes.

What you learn
Good boxing connects your hands, feet and guard. A combination only works when distance and movement work with it. Training develops those basics alongside fitness, with technique taking priority over speed and power.
If your goal is fitness rather than competition, tell us. We will help you clarify the training format before you attend. You do not have to plan to compete to begin boxing.

Before your first boxing class
Can I learn boxing as a complete beginner?
Yes. HD Boxing welcomes beginners and experienced athletes. You learn the basics step by step. Tell us about your experience and goals when arranging your first visit; competition is an option, not a requirement.
Do I have to spar?
If you want to start without sparring, tell us before your visit. We will discuss the exercises in a suitable session with you. We cannot promise that every class follows the same format, and you do not have to plan to compete.
What equipment do I need for my first boxing class?
Ask which clothing and equipment your session requires and whether anything can be provided at the gym. Wait for that confirmation before buying gloves or protective equipment.
Can I start after a long break or in my forties?
Tell us about your experience, any training break and your goals so we can discuss an appropriate start. Age alone does not determine the right session. If you are unsure about your health or exercise tolerance, seek qualified medical advice first.
Is the training taught in English?
This page provides information in English. Coaching language depends on the session and has not been confirmed for every class. Please ask about English-language support before arranging your visit.
What is the difference between boxing and kickboxing?
Boxing focuses on punches, guard and footwork. Kickboxing adds kicks. Our timetable lists the shared sessions as Boxing · Kickboxing; ask us which training fits your goals before your first visit.
Is boxing a self-defence course?
Boxing is a combat sport, not a guarantee of safety outside the gym. It is not a substitute for a dedicated self-defence course covering prevention and de-escalation. Tell us what you want to learn so we can clarify what our training can and cannot offer.
Looking for another training format?
There are separate women’s, kids’ and teens’ groups, plus kickboxing, BJJ, MMA and functional training. Compare the gym’s training options.
